We will create peace of mind by learning how your newborn's primitive reflexes facilitate feeding at the breast. You will learn how to recognize your baby's feeding cues, how to know they are transferring milk, and a LOT of fun facts about your amazing newborn. ​ You will learn proper positioning, the 'sacred' latch, and the early days after birth, addressing any concerns or past experiences. My focus for you will be to ensure comfortable and efficient breastfeeding. ​ Comprehensive assessment of both you and the baby. I will create a personalized care plan while fine-tuning any positioning and latch issues. Weight checks are offered to measure milk intake. Address milk production questions. Pump flange fitting is included. ​I am here for you and any of your concerns or questions - my goal for you is to feel deeply supported, understood, and confident every step of the way.

Visit 1: (Prenatal - virtual) Prepare your mind and heart for greeting your newborn. Learn what to expect during the first week postpartum. We can discuss your personal concerns and/or past experiences. Visit 2:  (In-home) We will meet no later than the second week to assess you & baby during a full feed. Check for weight gain, latch success, and comfortable positioning. Collaborate for the future care plan. Address milk production questions. Visit 3: (in-home) Follow-up to check baby's progress and to make sure you feel comfortable with the feeding routine. Tweak custom care plan, if needed. Visit 4: (in-home) Discuss future plans for pumping and conduct a flange fitting. Review and learn proper bottle feeding techniques. Each visit is gentle, unrushed and fully centered on the needs of you and your baby.

Motherhood doesn't happen on a schedule. Questions often arise between visits. You will have direct access to me for guidance and reassurance during the first THREE months of your baby's life. I offer gentle guidance rooted in decades of experience. You will never have to wonder if you are doing this alone.
